What a Lovely Wooden Horse--of course I'll sign for it!

Only two weeks left till I get to read the Illiad and the Odyssey at our annual Homer Marathon. Its the best Labor Day party around.

Hi Mr. Leigh! I was just wondering, what versions of the Illiad and the Odyssey do you recommend?

Robert Fagles' translation is the one of choice for the marathon and Torrey classes. I believe its based on the general ease of his translation, rather than perhaps the most literal translation.

How are you Gabriel?

Thanks for the recommendation Mr. Leigh! I won't bore you with details of my summer, but just a quick overview. In order: a six week cram course for Chem, Emmaus (Yay)and an intensive SAT prep till now. Basically, I haven't had a summer. How was yours?
